Prairie Burn Update

Below are some photos of our prairie burn. Jon Kellerman oversaw the burn. Had a crew of 11; took approximately 3 hours. Greenville Fire Department had been notified prior to the burn and sent a staff to take photo of Jon and the crew for their website.

May 17, 2018:

In follow up to our recent communications regarding the prairie burn, Jon Kellerman, WildlandFire/Natural Resources Instructor at Fox Valley Technical College, has informed me that our prairie burn is scheduled for Friday, 5/18.

Weather permitting, the burn will take place from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pet owners may want to exercise caution during this time.
